I'm not sure where to locate these laws to verify if the device is registered correctly. But I use to have Familiar face detection enabled when I lived in Missouri. I moved to Arkansas. Is my devices not working correctly as intended?

Nest Cam Indoor/Outdoor with Battery
3 out of 4 cameras have disabled Familiar face detection and states it doesn't allow to be enabled due to local laws. Is my address incorrect?
Our cameras are for personal home use for our family to know if someone other then who lives here is alerted if a unfamiliar face is detected so all of us in the house can be alerted if someone that doesn't live here is detected on our property.
We have Nest Protect (Home Premium) active on our account.
