Can't get preview of person on nest cam v1.0

Greetings,

I am randomly spotting gaps in footage of a person walking by my house.

This morning when I walked by, I was completely undetected.

Is there any way to improve detection? 

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for reaching out and sorry for the late reply. Do you still need help with this? What type of Nest Aware subscription do you have? 

You'll see gaps in your video history if your camera has event-based recording. You can check this article on how to Troubleshoot Event Video History to learn more.

Hi Steve,

Thank you soo much for getting back to me.

I believe the detection gaps are no longer present as I completely reset the cameras and redid the setup.

I will update the thread here if I see any further gaps.

So far so good.
