Hi, I just bought a house that came with a nest hello doorbell (wired). I tried resetting to factory settings by using a pin and holding down the button for 10 seconds but don’t get any yellow lights. It flashed blue and then when I go to setup it just tells me there’s a problem. Any advise will be greatly appreciated on how to hard reset the device.

Are you getting any errors with that message? I would suggest trying to Factory Reset it again and keep trying until you can get it connected. It is possible that the previous owner never removed it from their account, so if you can contact them and have them remove it off their Home, you should be able to do that after.
Best regards,
Brad.

Hi, so after doing a hard reset with holding a pin and holding the button down for 10 seconds I don't get a response I should be. No lights flash. I asked the previous owner if he deleted the device from his account and he said he just deleted the house as he has a new house on his account but did not actually remove the device from his account online. Any other thoughts as what can be the issue why it won't hard reset?

I would suggest that you reach out to Support and see what your options are. It could be a faulty device, but I have no clue if the device is under warranty or not. We do not process such requests in these forums. Sorry for the inconvenience!
Best regards,
Brad.
