Can’t reset doorbell, can’t connect to assisting device

Hii

i’ve recently set up an outdoor camera (battery) and it’s all fine, but today i tried setting up my doorbell (battery) and only had big problems. 

first thing i encountered was doorbell can’t connect to assisting device? why does it need this? my doorbell was literally 20cm away from my router as I tried connecting it, but there was no chance. next to that I had my hub. i also have a speaker nearby and a second hub. no help. 
i’ve read about this on other threads and tried everything, but none of it works. 

one common solution i saw was factory resetting the doorbell. i’ve tried this, but it won’t even work either. there’s never a flashing light and nothing happens when k press and hold the reset button with a tiny pin. 

anyone else have these problems? i’m honestly lost on what to do
