I see several complaints regarding this. Added new camera. Had to do on cell and download google home app. Can see all my cameras on cell but not new one in nest on my computer. Have they fixed this? If not new cameras going back! Not bouncing between cell and computer to view all my cameras. I do not live on my cell!!

Currently you need to use the Google Home app to view the Nest Gen 2 cameras but Google have said that a web-view will be introduced sometime this year.

Yes I read your question and answered with the current available information!
This is a community forum as per the title on the front page and I am just another user trying to support other users so telling me that you are considering other brands is pointless.
For the Google Nest team as this is the best way of sharing your thoughts with the people that can change things.

As you stated that you had already seen various complaints about this then I answered your only question (Have they fixed this?) With the current answer (You need to use the Google Home app to view the Nest Gen 2 cameras) and also offered information about the fact that Google had announced plans to address this before the end of the year!
