*Note: no appropriate category selectable, so I chose "Getting started".
This also pertains to both the Google Home app (Android) and Web Browser.
If I attempt to create a new Automation in the Google Home app; after choosing a "Personal" routine (I don't want it to be household), I can't choose familiar face detection as a "starter" for the routine. In fact, no camera actions of any kind are available. I have both a nest cam with floodlight and nest doorbell wired (v2); and I'd like to use their events as starters for routines (e.g.; familiar face detection, floodlight turns on, etc...)

Hi thompsondc1979,
Thank you for posting here in the community. I understand that you would like to start a routine set up familiar face detection at the beginning of the day on the Google Home App. Let's check the options.
I appreciate the details and information about the routine that you would like to set up. Unfortunately, this action is not currently available as "started action" for routines. However, you can still create a custom routine to trigger a specific action at the beginning of the day, such as playing a certain song or turning on the lights.
Your thoughts are really important to us, so please share your feedback so we can improve and work on future updates for the Google Home App.
Thank you again for your input. Let me know if you have more questions.
Regards,
Byron

Managed to get this running with "advanced home automations" using the script editor:
define the starter like this:
starters:
- type: device.event.FaceFamiliarDetection
device: [cam name]- [room name]
