Can’t set up new google wireless doorbell

I have an AMPLIFI router connected to Pentanet and have tried on numerous devices to connect my new google wireless doorbell. It just does not connect no error code given just try again option. I have also factory reset a couple of times, moved it to various positions still same result.

also tried on Optus wireless broadband router and same results. 
is my doorbell a dud??

Thanks for your reply and yes I have sent back now and gone back to trusty ring doorbell.
