OK here's the deal. We bought a house that had a google nest hello for chime but they took it when they moved. It's wired up for it (there are two wires sticking out)
My first q is so I need to kill the power first cause it is not labeled where on the circuit breaker box.
My second q is there isn't a pre existing chime anywhere that i can see in the house or basement. I belive they used to use a google or facebook screen to monitor who was at the door. Is there a compatible wifi or bluetooth speaker that i can use as a door bell chime, we already have several alexas (not sure that can be used) i just want to hear the door bell without having to pull out a phone everytime.
any help is appreciated

Have you ever got an answer, I just bought one and I thought the chime came with it, but evidently it doesn’t.

Do you have a new Nest Cam or Nest Doorbell from 2021? If so, these devices do not come with a Chime. They utilize your local Speakers or Displays in your home like a Nest Hub, or a Google Home Mini, etc. It may not work at all on Alexa I am afraid. These devices are not compatible with Alexa. But you can get your chimes via a speaker or display if you have a compatible one. Learn more here. Please let me know if you need further assistance.
Best regards,
Brad.
