Can't turn enhanced zoom off

I accidentally turned enhanced zoom on and I can't get it off. There's no minus or plus sign and the default view is already very zoomed in and it zooms in even more if you pinch. How do I reset it to the widest angle available?

You don't see the "Enhanced" icon ( the minus sign) in the Google Nest app unless you tap on the camera feed image.  The forward and backward 15 seconds icons also appear at that time.
