I cannot download Nest Video clips using cellular data or WiFi from a personal hotspot.
First of all, why is this not possible through cellular connections? I am able to view a live feed and talk from my doorbell through a cellular connection with no issues, so why can I not download an mp4 file using the same connection? I can download YouTube Premium videos over cellular, so why not files that I own?
Second, on the issue of hotspot WiFi not working, why are the videos endlessly stuck waiting to download? Since the video clips go away after 3 hours and I am at work, unable to save these clips before they vanish since Google appears to selectively choose which WiFi connections are suitable for downloads (again, not an issue with any other Google service).
My connection is not the problem, as with 5G I am routinely getting 80/5 speeds on wifi speed tests. I have tried uninstalling the Google Home app as well as restarting all devices to no avail.
I'm tagging @janthadeus, @aatienza, and @Brad , who were involved in a similar thread that appears to have had no resolution.

Hi there,
I can imagine this experience has been stressful for you. I would love to look into this further. As far as I am aware, this was addressed in a recent update to the app. Please update your Google Home app and Nest App, if applicable, and restart your devices as well. Please let me know if you are still experiencing this after you do those troubleshooting steps.

It appears that this has been changed and it is now possible to download videos over a cellular connection. This was not possible prior to my post despite uninstalling and updating all devices and software. In any case, it is working well now.
