I have set up 2 zones yet I keep getting people and movement notifications all day long when people are walking in the pavement outside them. There are no shadows being cast into the zones and I've tweaked all the settings, even shortened the zones further away from the pavement but it still catches everything outside them.

While Nest strives to send you notifications only when your camera senses important activity, false positives can occur as a natural outcome of using algorithms to process video. These algorithms learn and improve over time, which helps limit the number of notifications you’ll receive as the camera uses software to look for changes in color and lighting.
As a suggestion, you can try adjusting the light level to avoid shadows moving across the frame. For example, shadows cast by clouds moving in front of the sun or trees and bushes swaying near your important areas can sometimes trigger alerts.

Hi,
I made the adjustments but I am still getting notifications. For some reason I am not allowed to paste pictures to show but the people are even further away from the zones when the camera is picking them up. Keep in mind, this is only person notifications, not generic movement.
