So to help those that have the message of "device offline recharge battery" so I'm come to learn the issue with that is you can't just let your device go dead. Once the battery gets below 10% or 18hrs left. Charge it!! So if you should happen to let your device go dead on its own, you will have to take the base down (the magnet) and put Google nest camera on device in order for it to charge. So the socket that you would normally use....find another socket. And you going to have to wait until device white light comes on and then it will make like a tone and let you know that it's charging. DO NOT RESET DEVICE, as some of you have been told. Resetting device is a whole other issue. If you device is just offline try resetting YOUR WIFI. I hope this helps this is what helped me and what I did for my own device with no Google help.
