My camera with flood was working flawlessly for well over a year. Lately, the light has not been coming on with motion. The camera still works; I get push notifications for motion and recording starts. I can access the camera and flood via the app. I've noticed that the flood (under lighting in the app) is "off". When I turn it "on", it stays on all day and night, disregarding the settings for it in the app, which are to only come on for 1 min after motion detection and dark conditions.
Does the home app need to "on" for this to work? If so, why does it stay on all the time? If it's "off" in the app, is that like a physical switch, cutting power to it? If so, how does the camera work?
