Doesn't know its plugged in

This is a problem previously posted. My nest indoor/outdoor batter camera has stopped seeing that it is plugged in. It said battery was at 0%. I replaced it with another one using the same cable and the newer one works right. When I brought the bad one in the house and plugged it in, the battery seems to be charging but it still doesn't know it is plugged in. Just give battery status. Any suggestion?

Thanks for bringing this up. To confirm, how long did you try to charge it? What is the light status of your Nest Camera? It takes approximately five hours to fully charge the battery using the provided 7.5W AC adapter and charge cable.

• If you charge your Nest Camera as needed, the camera’s view will show the battery charge percentage.
• If you keep your Nest Cam (battery) connected to a compatible USB cable for continuous power, you’ll see the ∞ symbol on the camera’s battery info in the app.
