Hi Cecilsmoothie, Just follow the directions that came with the doorbell. The thermostats have nothing to do with the doorbell cam. NOTE: on your phone you will need to use the newer GOOGLE HOME app to install the new doorbell. You do not use the older NEST app. Also the GOOGLE HOME app will not acknowledge the thermostats. You continue to use the NEST app for those devices. [ Thanks a lot Google 😞 ].
