Doorbell (Battery) locking pin stuck.

Hey Google,

Aside from taking a glue stick and trying to pop out the little locking pin (the little plastic pin that locks the doorbell to the mount on the back top middle of the device) like a dent in a cart door...

Is there a simpler, easier way to get that locking pin to stay out? 

This seems like a design flaw since the opening to unlock it from the mount is on the top where dust and other particulates like to gather...

I've had the doorbell for about a month or so and I unhook it once to re-pair it to my network and now it won't lock to the mount.

Any help would be appreciated.

I’ve had the exact same thing happen and it’s not easily fixed. Can barely figure out how to get this returned to the Google store… Finding return info it a nightmare

Yup, mines doing the exact same thing.  I can't even connect it partially just to get it to work for the time being.

Camera won't work if it's not clipped into the mount according to the Google Home app.
