Installed the Nest Doorbell (battery) and noticed my doorbell wasn't getting power from transformer.
Reinstalled transformer and am now getting a green light and powered notification. However, when I tap the additional wires to my indoor chime on the house, it constantly rings (electric/digital chime).
I then have to take off the wires going to the chime from the transformer to get it to turn off.
Voltage into transformer is 124VAC. Voltage out is 17-18VAC. Voltage at doorbell is 17-18VAC. Voltage at chime (when plugged in) is 17-18VAC.

Your doorbell chime may not be wired correctly.

Thanks for bringing up the concern you're having. I would agree with MplsCustomer, it sounds like it may be wired incorrectly. You can check out this guide for more information.
