I installed a new 2nd Generation wired Google Nest video doorbell. I am in a brand new condo. Prior the regular doorbell button Rand the chimes just perfectly. Only 1 doorbell. Installed Google Nest Video doorbell and the camera and doorbell seem to work fine. The issue is the doorbell mechanical chime. It won’t work at all with the chime puck installed. And without it the mechanical chime works but it has a long delay between the “ding” and the “dong”. I’ve made sure the settings are set to mechanical chime in the app. I’ve actually tried it both ways. I have just upgraded my doorbell transformer to 16VAC 30va. Still acting the same way. Could the puck be defective?

I've seen posts from other customers who had a defective chime puck. You could try contacting Support for a replacement. (It seems they insist on replacing the doorbell and the accessories.)
1. Go to https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp.
2. Select a category/product family, and type in a brief description of the issue, then click "Next".
3. Click "Other", then click "Next step".
4. Under "Resources", just click "Next step". (Clicking one of the listed links will bring up a Help page page.)
5. Under "Contact options", choose to get a phone call or chat with the team, depending on availability in your country.
