Hi I really need help.
I recently bought the nest doorbell (battery) based on my thoughts that it would work something like the "Ring Doorbell".
When I am not home and someone presses my doorbell it does not call to phone like the "Ring Doorbell" would. It only calls to my nest home display which is absolutely useless when I'm not in the house.
All I get is a silly notification to let me know it has been pressed. I'm am due to to return the doorbell and keep the hub and purchase a ring doorbell as this also works with my display and gives me what I need.
Can someone please assist me to let me know if this is possible on the Google doorbell as I'd rather keep it. I'm an android nut and have everything android and would prefer it for the features.
Thanks

Return it and get the one that works best for you. I hate my nest doorbell and should have done as you suggested.

Hey folks,
Thanks for posting in the Google Nest Community.
@Connorq98, I'm afraid that ringing your phone when someone presses your Nest Hello doorbell button is not available. Rest assured that we're always on the lookout for ways to improve so we'll take this as feedback. Keep an eye out on this Community page or follow our social channels for news and updates.
@User22222, I'm sorry if you feel that way. If you could share your experience so we would know what to work on, we'd greatly appreciate it.
Best,
Melba
