All of a sudden, sometime in the last week, my doorbell history quit showing me video. It is only showing me still images. The only video I get now is when it is live.

Sorry to hear you are no longer able to view your events. It sounds like you may have either been on a Nest Aware trial that has ended, or your Nest Aware subscription has lapsed. You will need to subscribe again in order to view your event history once more moving forward. Here is a great link on how Nest Aware works and how to subscribe. In addition, here is a link on how to manage your subscription.
