Hi,
I've had a doorbell for quite a while now, without any issues.
I took it off just recently to put on charge, and now it seems as though it won't click back into place.
Can I please have some advice, or can I return it as I feel as though it's faulty.

I keep seeing posts like yours in this forum about the battery doorbell's mounting mechanism. I am glad we instead bought another Google Nest Hello Doorbell and wired it with an "OhmKat Video Power Adapter - Compatible with Nest" for our unwired entrance a year ago.
You could try contacting Support--using the link and instructions in this post--to see if they'll replace your doorbell:
(A few customers have tried using a little bit of WD-40 to loosen up the mounting mechanism.)
