Hello
i have just installed my Nest Doorbell and I want it to chime on the Home Hub. On the Home Hub I can see the video from the doorbell so the communication is 👍, but in the Home App there is no Doorbell option. How can I get the option to appear? I have removed and reinstalled the Hub in the app but that made no difference,
Cheers

Turn on the "Visitor announcements" option in your doorbell's Settings in the Google Home app:

Thanks for that. I have already tried both turning it off then on, but it still does not appear.

Hello
The Doorbell option is still not appearing, but the chime and announcement is working correctly 👍

I'm glad to hear that "Visitor announcements" are working on your Home Hub.
I don't know what you mean when you say "the Doorbell option is still not appearing".

Some solutions to this question show a Doorbell option in the Home Hub settings where you set the activity. Maybe they are for an older release.

Hi folks,
JamesO, I’m sorry you’re still having trouble with your device. Are your Nest doorbell and Nest Hub connected in the same home structure in the Google Home app?
I appreciate your help, MplsCustomer!
Thanks,
JT

Hello
It’s all good now. Some of the videos available online showed a Doorbell option on the Home Hub menu. Maybe there are old versions. I was looking for that and hadn’t tested it before I asked the question as I thought there was a problem.
