Doorbell problems

It's telling me I can not use electric chime on my door ell when using battery power. So how do I change that so I can hear when it rings. It's not letting me turn it on in settings because of this battery power mode so I have a silent doorbell. I need help.

@Aglover

The battery doorbell cannot ring a wired electronic OR mechanical doorbell chime for the simple reason that the doorbell is NOT wired to the doorbell chime. As a result, the "Indoor chime" option is automatically disabled when the battery doorbell is NOT wired.

However, you SHOULD be able to turn on the "Visitor announcements" option (in spite of some misleading text on the screen for the battery doorbell in the Google Home app) and get visitor announcements on all of your Nest Hub(s) or Nest Mini(s) if you have either (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/7672451) and if the Nest Hub(s) or Nest Mini(s) are in the same Google Nest "home/structure" and are NOT set to "Do not disturb".
