The doorbell is installed and connected to the Nest Hub. When ring button is pressed, It rings for only one second before the nest hub notification. How can I make the doorbell ring on the Nest Hub for a longer duration? Note that I don't have ring chime.

Google Nest does not give us any options for a longer ring.

Thank you for your reply but I hardly can hear the ring. Any ideas how to get a proper ring out of it?

Hello Abdel001,
Thanks for reaching out to the Community. I’d be happy to look into this for you.
While there isn’t a way to adjust the volume of the doorbell notifications individually in the Nest Hub, here’s how to control the volume of Google Nest speakers and displays.
You can also turn on visitor announcements so the display can announce when someone rings your Google Nest doorbell or other compatible doorbell.
Reach out if you have any other questions.
I appreciate the help, MplsCustomer.
Best,
Lance

Nest doorbell and battery over here with a hub…doorbell rings outside but no notification or sounds from my hub. There is a notice on my app that says “no indoor chime with battery” but when I purchased the doorbell I was told I needed the hub in order to be alerted in the home. Is this correct? I have visit announcements turned on, my hub and doorbelll are set to the same house and wifi network

The "Indoor chime" option is automatically disabled when the battery doorbell is not wired to an indoor doorbell chime.
Can you view the camera on your battery doorbell from your Nest Hub? Can you see your battery doorbell and your Nest Hub in the Google Home app? You should be able to do both.
Do you by any chance have "Do not disturb" turned on for your Nest Hub?
If that doesn't explain it, you might want to try contacting Support using the link and instructions in the post below. I've seen a few other posts where "Visitor announcements" don't seem to be working on the battery doorbell.

I did a reset of the hub and that seems to have done the trick. I see that the length of the ring can’t be adjusted but I think we can manage as is.
