Hi all
i have just bought a DropCam Pro second hand and i can not set it up becuase the previous owner didnt delete his account from it.
is there a way to delete previous owner from camera without knowing who the owner was?

The previous owner should have removed the camera from their Google Nest app. They should also have told you Google Nest is discontinuing support for Dropcams as of April 8 2024, and their offer for replacement cameras applies only to owners whose cameras were active on a Nest Aware subscription the month before this April 7, 2023 announcement:

To add to MplsCustomer's advice, if the previous owner didn't remove it from their Nest app, after the previous owner's video history has expired, which can take up to 60 days, you should technically be able to pair the camera to your account. Unfortunately, there's no way to check when their video history expires, so you'd need to periodically retry setup. With that said, I'd take note of the end of support MplsCustomer mentioned, as the camera will in fact no longer work starting April 8, 2024.
