Doorbell speaker not working

Doorbell speaker extremely faint with responding via Samsung or iPhone. Only clear with the hub. 

Another whole thread about this was posted and then locked by the "community specialist" with no update or solution. Here's hoping we get a solution on this post

From taking a look at the closed thread it seems that it's a device specific issue relating to the mic sensitivity on the phone's.  Can you raise the mic sensitivity on your iPhone and test?

Unfortunately raising it has no effect on the Samsung or the iPhone. Doorbell has also been resetted

I just purchased Nest doorbell  (battery) 2 days ago and noticed today that my voice is not heard on the doorbell. I use Live option on Google Home app on my iPhone 12 pro max and no way I can fix it. It looks like lot of other people having same issue. 

Any fix please? What's the point of buying two-way talk camera when you can not reply anything from phone?

Update: I uninstall the Google Home app from my iPhone and reinstalled it and allow all the notification, camera and microphone permissions again and it fixed my problem I mentioned in my comment above.
