Doorbell time/clock

Hi,

I cannot seem to locate, if possible, anywhere to update the time on google doorbell , let alone good home app. 

Should be so basic and so simple yet it's nowhere to be found. 

 

Doorbell has been showing the time incorrectly for almost a year now.. I'm going for this one last attempt before I bin it. Yes, something so simple will get me to throw it away. Fixing time shouldn't be so hard.

Is your home address set correctly in the Home app? The time is determined based on your home address that's set in the app.

Yes. Absolutely. Entered it more than once.

Reading elsewhere, it seems it could be daylight savings issue? checked that today since daylight saving finished yesterday, and its no correct. 

Should this not be picked up from the Wifi settings at home?

That may well be the case indeed and no, as far as I know, it strictly uses the address set in the app, rather than any data from the Wifi network.

Hi Zjubran,

 

I just wanted to follow up with davidking's comments and confirm that it uses the app data. One thing you can try, however, is clearing the cache in your app and restarting your doorbell to see if you can get it to refresh that way. If that doesn't work, just let us know.

Hi, 

As mentioned previously it was day light savings issue. Why did it not change over automatically is beyond me considering it goes off the WiFi but since we were set back an hour couple of weeks ago it's worked.
