Existing door bell and cameras

Just purchased home that has Nest door bell, smoke det, cameras, and thermostats.  
app will not let me add doorbell since is registers to old owner.  Is there a hard reset?

The previous owner has to remove each Google Nest device from their Google Nest app or Google Home app while they are still on the Wi-Fi for the home.  After that, each device must be factory reset.  Only then can you re-install them.
