Nest Doorbell

New to the nest family, hopefully it was a good idea. Quick question, what am I doing wrong, I can view doorbell in the Google app but it won't let me finish set up on Nest. Not really into the Google format as I just switched from Ring. Hoping the Nest app would bring some satisfaction. Can someone tell what I'm doing wrong here?

You are yet another Google Nest customer who is discovering that Google Nest decided its new cameras and doorbells released starting in the autumn of 2021 would work ONLY in the Google Home app and NOT in the Google Nest app or on the home.nest.com website. In Sept. 2021, Google Nest offered this explanation: https://www.googlenestcommunity.com/t5/Blog/Message-from-our-GM-Updates-for-our-Nest-customers/ba-p/....  We've been using 2 apps ever since for our Google Nest cameras.

Google Nest recently made a beta version of https://home.google.com available where we can view the live stream of ALL of our cameras and doorbells.

Google Nest also has a new version of the Google Home app available for limited Public Preview; many of us are hoping it takes some steps to give ALL cameras the capabilities of the Google Nest app:
