Facial recognition assigning wrong face to wrong name. Cannot move that new face to assigned a name

My 2 new nest batter indoor/outdoor cameras keep placing familiar faces into the wrong person album. For instance, it sometimes recognizes me as one of my friends and places the snapshot it took for my face into my friend's face library. There is no option to move my recognized picture out of my friend's album and add it to my album. So I need to delete my picture everytime.

Simple solution would be to give 2 options; one to re-assign a give picture in a given album to an exiting recognized person. Another option would be to provide the ability to create a new face library of the newly recognized face.

thanks,

Hi there,

I apologize for my late response, and thank you for all of your patience while waiting for a reply. I understand how upsetting this may be, and I'm happy to assist you with this. I know that there are some updates to the Google Home app that should be allowing you to edit, merge and move your familiar faces saved. I would make sure that your device is up-to-date on its current software as well as the home app. I would also suggest trying to restart your cameras as well to see if this helps you out.

Best regards,
Brad
