Factory reset not working

Hi! Recently reset router and my cams went offline and wouldn't reconnect after many attempts (wifi ssid stayed the same and all nest products on my 2.4ghz network so should have been an easy reconnect).

Had to delete camera, attempt to add product, app stated previous settings needed factory reset. I've held the reset pin in for a minute with no reset from camera.  Unplugged cam completely from power source to clear anything, plugged back in, tried factory reset again, no reset chime. Same issue continues.  Even tried the old trick of setting up a new Home and adding products...same issue occurs.  These are some of the earlier generation nest products so I'm not interested in hearing "they're at the end of their useful life cycle" which support has stated in the past when this has happened.... I've never had them not be able to factory reset though.

My only suggestion would be to make sure you're following the appropriate factory reset instructions for the IQ camera (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9252162?hl=en&sjid=17236944534849910260-NC#zippy=%2Cnes...) and to try the factory reset again.

Factory resets can sometimes be tricky. I haven't done one on any device for years, but in the past I've found it hard to ensure that the reset pin is depressed. Just yesterday a customer in this forum reported that it took them five attempts to factory reset their Google Nest battery camera.
