Hi,
I've had multiple occasions where something happens that my Nest cams pick up (both security cam and doorbell) which are not detected as events - because they are audio-only, or it happens outside of a zone, or its something I did not configure event detection for, or it's something that Nest simply doesn't have event detection for. I have a Nest Aware subscription, the video is definitely there, I can see it in the Google Home app, I just can't download it to show to someone else.

You're right. It is available in 3.10.1.6 but it seems you have to be enrolled in "Public preview" program from Settings to have it available.
It was announced here https://www.googlenestcommunity.com/t5/Blog/New-updates-to-Google-Home-for-camera-users-new-AI-image... but it looks like it didn't find its way to the mainline version yet.

This was added in recent google home app update. You can now initiate a download at any given time in the timeline with "Save clip" option is now constantly available and choose how much time you want to download from that point (30 secs, 1 min, 3 mins, 5 mins)

Where is that option? I have the latest version of the Google Home app (3.10.1.6), and I don't see anything like that.

@DarthRainbows, thanks for reaching out here in the Community. How's it going? Were you able to download your custom clip with the Public Preview access? Others use their default video recording app and record their screen while playing the video. That way it will be automatically saved to your mobile phone.
