Feedback for prospective buyers "negative"

Just leaving feedback here for prospective buyers of google nest battery cameras. I have multiple cameras. I also have a client who has a disability who has multiple battery cameras. Both are experiencing long term faults and issues that have not and/or can not be rectified with multiple complaints made to google home support. I would not recommend the google battery cameras or any associated products as the ongoing issues since purchasing them have been an absolute nightmare with no real help from google support. At the moment the cameras and the google home app are unusable.

My clients cameras are meant to monitor the client to keep them safe and monitor their support workers etc. For an extended period now the clients cameras have been unusable for one reason or another. We've had experts come and check the wifi modem and signal strength and all is working fine. Google have been told on multiple occasions the dire need for these cameras to be operational and yet have totally disregarded the importance of the issue. The person with the disability knows the cameras arent working properly and have attempted to self harm on multiple occasions because they now are aware at times they cannot and are not being monitored. ""Sure this isnt googles fault that goes without saying google cannot directly control the behavior of the person with a disability"". However on multiple occasions google have been informed of the urgency and on one occasion when the client self harmed and google were informed of this googles reply was ""sorry for the inconvenience"". Like really, an inconvenience, yeah rightyo whatever zero compassion we understand it and are used to it. 
So the latest from google support was we were told to purchase a new product i.e. a new phone so that maybe the issue with my client may be resolved this is in no way certain just a maybe. Problem is the phone currently being used runs android go a google software product and the google home app is a google product and google cannot make them compatible "or at least thats our understanding and what we've been told and or lead to believe. The client has a disability and cannot afford to purchase a new phone and why should they google should make the products compatible or not be sellling either product. We're not asking for donations or a free device here etc simply sharing our experience.

So because of these multiple ongoing issues for extended periods of time and googles behavior and disregard for everything decent and right in the eyes of a correct thinking human being. And also the consumers rights as the products were purchased in good faith in a public retail store setting there's no way whatsoever i can give a positive review of either the battery cameras or google themselves. 

My advice is steer clear of the google nest battery cameras and all associated products. The cameras and associated products are simply not fit for purpose. Google will abandon you after purchasing their products when you experience faults and issues.

Hopefully i can save prospective buyers the heartache and nightmares we've endured.

Hi, so sorry to hear what you and your client have been and still are going through. I can understand what you are going through, No I don't have a disability but I do live alone and now that the camera's are not working properly I  feel a bit more vulnerable. Hopefully google pull their fingers out off their you know what and fix the mistake they made. We need to feel safe in our own homes and that's what their camera's are suppose to do.

Google just knuckled down and became more arrogant. They do not intend to help nor have they ever intended to. Its all about blaming everything else instead of their own inferior products. Google cant admit their products are fraught with faults and issues doing so makes them look sub par "which they are" admitting it in writing online though just sets it in concrete. Funny thing is everyone knows how pathetic google products are google are delusional...

Just started with this nest garbage . I guess I'm just to stupid to run this genius Nest crap. Not to look any stupider....but I wasted an hour of my time trying to get what I would have though was a pretty easy **bleep** question! No one to call ..... .or wait on hold until you hang up! I'm only wasting more time posting here because it was the first one that said "negative" and I wanted others to know not to waste time with you jokers.. Tried for 3 days to get my post answered ....then tried to find my send folder....nothing but BS computers that have irrelevant answers and complete waste of time. Never again nest....and Google can go F themselves to . Arrogant pricks. Can't find the bloody inbox or sent folder.  useless waste of time.

I can only sympathize with you. Google have given me the runaround for over a year with ongoing lie after lie and no fix in sight. I have over $2000 worth of cameras and they've never worked as advertised. I feel stupid too you're not alone....
