I have purchased, installed and set up new floodlight camera. It's is wired and streaming live feed perfectly fine.
However, it sends no notifications of any events. Also, when I look on history there are absolutely no events recorded.
I have looked and looked for an answer but no luck to date.
Any help.Would be greatly appreciated

In the Google Home app for your camera, did you go to Settings | Events | Seen events and enable recording for specific event types, and then enable Notifications for those events?
If you do NOT have a Nest Aware subscription, then you will only see events that occurred in the most recent 3 hours.
