I recently installed a new Nest Cam Floodlight which the Cam works great, however the floodlight sensor is too sensitive! I have it installed on the side of the house and Floodlight turns on when someone walks on the sidewalk front of the house! Now this is way outside of camera's viewing zone.
Is there a way to adjust the Floodlight sensor so it would not be so sensitive or turn on when camera is recording?
It seems all the settings in the app are for camera and no way to adjust the Floodlight sensor, unless I want to disable Floodlight motion all together!
Any input on how to limit this would be appreciated.

This thread says "The Nest Cam with floodlight’s camera has a single motion sensor, with 110° horizontal field of view. Motion can be detected from up to 25 ft (7.5 m) away. The floodlight has 2 motion sensors, with a 180° horizontal field of view and motion can be detected from up to 25 ft (7.5 m)." Can you tell where the motion sensors are, and is it possible to tape over part of it?
We have a conventional motion detector floodlight, and I've used white masking tape on eather side of the motion sensor to narrow its range.

Hi folks,
@-CYBERSAM-, thanks for reaching out here in the Community. We hear you and we wanted to help you with this. The Motion setting will turn the lights on whenever the floodlight’s motion sensor detects activity. You can also adjust the motion sensitivity setting to determine when the floodlight will turn on.
To find the right setting for your floodlight installation, when it's dark, choose a sensitivity setting then walk past your camera to see when the light turns on. Select a higher sensitivity so that your floodlight will turn on when there’s activity further away, or a lower sensitivity for a shorter range.
Give these steps a try:
I appreciate the help, MplsCustomer.
