Galaxy Watch 4 Not displaying Nest Camera event image previews consistently.

I always see an event notification, but rarely does it show the actual preview image.
My wife's Apple watch always shows the preview correctly.

I have the exact same problem.  My wife uses iPhone and apple watch and she gets image previews on her Iphone and watch for every notification.  I use android and galaxy watch 4 and I never get any image previews.  What am I doing wrong?
