Gen 1 Nest Cam IQ + Outdoor + Hello can't stream to TV

Hi All,

This no doubt has already been asked but I can't find it. All of my cameras are now migrated from the nest app to the Google home app. However none of them are now able to cast to my Chromecast Ultra. Regardless of whether I use a voice command or try to set it up in automations (there's no option to cast them). The Hello is actually greyed out entirely as an action in automations when I use doorbell ring as a starter.

Is streaming broken? Or no longer supported?

I also can't view them on my pixel watch 3. I have transferred all cameras to the home app fyi.

Thanks for posting here in the community. I'm sorry to hear you can't stream your Nest Cameras 1Gen to TV with your Chromecast Ultra. I'm happy to help!

Currently, the only way you can cast Nest Cameras is by using a Nest speaker or display. However, we're always looking for ways to improve and appreciate your feedback as it helps us continue improving our products to meet your needs.
