Google Doorbell (Battery) is frequently OFFLINE?

Hello,

Since 3 to 4 days ago, suddenly, my Google Doorbell is OFFLINE. But, all of functionalities are working fine. Home app easily added. Device "Restart" or "Factory Reset" works fine. However, after the doorbell mounted on the entrance, frequently it is OFFLINE.

I tried to find information from web. Some info shows me that I need to change "Mounting Type" in "Device Information" of Home App. But, the chapter never shows "Mounting Type".

Any body has similar issue like me. Possibly, any person knew a solution about this technical error?

Please share the info if you have.

Thank you in advance.

How's the power levels on the doorbell? Also the wifi signal?  My wired doorbell did this for a while when it didn't have adequate signal , I moved my router and it's been solid ever since.

Hello, thank you for your advice. We tried to put a google Wi-Fi pointer nearest place to the entrance. There is NO LUCK for us.

Hey tart1972,

Could you do me a favor and go into your WiFi settings in the Home app and check the signal strength on the WiFi point that's closest to your doorbell? In addition to checking that, can you check and see which point your doorbell has connected to? It's not very common, but sometimes a device will connect to a point farther away than the nearest. Let's try and rule that out first.

Thanks,
Jeff
