Okay ADT technicians didn't give up on me. they fixed the issue of the battery and explained to me. Same as what MplsCustomer sent to me. Very helpful. ADT doesn't suck and I am unable to edit my profile name for this community. prime example of not typing while hot headed 😕

I don't know how you would get an "empty battery" error from the 2nd gen Google Nest Doorbell.
You could get such an error from the 2nd gen Google Nest Battery Doorbell even if it is wired, especially in cold weather, because that battery always runs off of the battery (even when wired), while the doorbell wires provide the ability to trickle-charge the doorbell's battery. Hello MplsCustomer, Thank you for the helpful links. I wish I could delete my post 🙂 seeing that it is resolved. Well maybe it will be helpful to others experiencing the same issues.
Cheers

@Anonymous
Well, since ADP is a "partner" with Google Nest, they should have been able to address your concerns.
