Google Home App <> Google Nest App Sync

MCAO

Recently purchased and installed the Nest wired Floodlight camera.  It had me set up the camera on the Google Home app, and is working fine there.  When I log into the Google Nest app (which has my front camera, doorlock, thermostats, etc.), the new floodlight camera does not appear.

Shouldn't the two sync, or is there a step I missed?  How do I get this additional camera to show up in the Google Nest app?

Thank you.

Unfortunately and sadly, the new Google Nest cameras and doorbells released starting in 2021 work ONLY in the Google Home app and NOT in the Google Nest app or on the home.nest.com website, as we discovered a year ago when we bought a Google Nest Camera (Battery). We've had to use 2 apps ever since to manage our Google Nest cameras and doorbells.

A year ago, Google Nest's Vice President posted this blog on the 2-app approach. There has been no update whatsoever since then, even though he said "we commit to being more transparent with you on where we are taking the camera portfolio":
