Trying to set up Doorbell (battery) and when I scan the barcode I'm bounced to the Nest app, which bounces me straight back to the Home app.
This doesn't happen on my partner's phone and I've restarted the phone and reinstalled the apps. So I'm not able to set up my new doorbell onto my Home account at all, any ideas?

It finally installed and appears to be working as designed. I think deleting Google Home and reinstalling did the trick and should be considered as a possible solution for others having issues.

Brad, I am having this issue and it is very frustrating. I have deleted and reinstalled the Nest app and I am still having the same issue bouncing back and forth between Google Home and Nest. I have a battery powered doorbell if that makes any difference. Please help guide me as I am ready to return this item and give up completely. I previously had Google Home installed with a mini in the house and two Chromecast devices plus a Roomba all recognized in Home.

Did the delete twice now of Nest, but followed the steps above to start with Nest and it took me back to Google Home. Asked what device I was trying to install and sent me right back to Nest. Arrgh. What version of Nest do you show to have? I have 5.67.0.

Well I deleted Google Home and that seems to have done the trick. It is updating now but seems to be hung up at 10%. I've seen other folks mention that issue as well. I'll wait it out and see what happens. Thanks for your help.
