I am terribly sorry to hear that you're having this issue! I would love to assist you with this issue. If you are having issues with your Nest Cam or Nest Doorbell, I would suggest that you first start by restarting it.
Restart: Keeps all your settings, and it should reconnect to the same Wi-Fi network. This is helpful if it ever becomes frozen, has trouble reconnecting to the internet, or isn't working normally.
Hi Brad, restarting the doorbell and router didn’t help. However I did notice that if I shut down the google home app entirely and restarted it works properly, but the problem appears if I return to the live view without shutting down the app.
Understood. What phone are you using to open the Google Home app (Android, iOS)? Have you tried using a different phone to isolate the issue? Also, try to force close all the apps that are open, then try again. Let us know how it goes.
