Hi,
I have a nest aware account and have first and second generation cameras. The first generation cameras that i can see in the nest app and google home app record everything regardless if there is motion/audio in the room. my second generation that i can only see in the google home app does not do that. Instead it seems to start recording sometime after it detects motion, so i can be missing long period of time or when here is motion and i don't understand why. i have motion/people/audio detection all on, and 30 day event history. this doesnt make sense.

Thanks for posting here in the Community. Let's see what we can do here. Seems like you have the base plan for the 2nd gen of Nest Aware subscription. If you're referring to the continuous video recording, your base plan subscription doesn't have that feature. You need to upgrade it to the Nest Aware Plus to get it. With regards to your alerts, try turning off and on the categories under the event settings of your Nest Cameras.
