Google Nest Doorbell Cam Peeling around button

My Nest doorbell cam is very well protected from the elements. It gets sunlight, but never rain or other weather. The area around where the button is and the lens is peeling. I would post pictures but not sure how. After reading, it does seem like this is a known defect with your product. I own a very nice home and honestly the Nest looks like a sub-par product. I can already conclude that since it is out of warranty, there is nothing you will do. I mainly just came here to say you lost a customer and will be switching to all Amazon Ring products. Not the first quality issue from Google. Issues with the Nest Thermostat touch sensors going out, blurry camera's, wifi connection issues, the list continues.

Just so you know this is a user forum and google doesn't read anything on this site.   I have the same issue with my doorbell and just live with it.  In fact I ordered the new Google Gen 2 doorbell and didn't like it mostly because of how bad the Google Home app is.   I returned it and just went back to the Nest Hello.
