Google Nest Doorbell (battery)

Has anyone figured out how to make the battery last longer than a couple days?  It seems I am constantly needing to charge this thing.  Any advice would be appreciated.  Thanks.

Hello @BobL1220,

Thanks for reaching out. Is it possible for you to connect it to your current doorbell’s wire? In this case, it will use the wires to charge the battery, and have backup power if the electricity goes out.

Hope that helps! 🙂

Hi everyone,

@BobL1220, thanks for reaching out here in the Community and for sharing your concern with us. Aside from what listairee has shared, you may lower your battery usage by following the steps below:

  1. Open the Google Home app Google Home app.
  2. Tap Favorites or Devices .
  3. Tap and hold your device's tile More More menu Settings .

Tap Battery and then Battery usage and then More battery life.

Let us know if you have more questions in mind.

I appreciate the help, listairee.

Regards,
Emerson
