My Google Nest Hello face has been peeling for quite a while which is very annoying but now it is going offline every 20 minutes or so which defeats the entire purpose of this device. Does anyone have any advice? The doorbell is south facing on my property and does not get direct sun due to large trees in the front yard so I don't understand why the faceplate is peeling.
Concerning the disconnection of the camera, I suspect a connectivity problem such I personnally had some time ago. I resolved the situation with a wifi extender midpoint between the router and the camera.
I don't have an easy answer for why your Nest Hello Doorbell is going offline every 20 minutes, but the peeling of the face of the camera is a known issue. It's now happened to all 3 of our Nest Hellos, so we purchased silicone "skins" on Amazon to cover the peeling shards.
