Google / Nest camera and doorbell not detected after removal from existing account

i have a 3rd gen google camera, and a nest wired doorbell and an 3rd indoor iq camera.  Since i removed them from my exisitng google account before deleting it, i have been unable to add them back into google home or even nest app.

Powered them down. booted up.  held reset button down for ~12 secs or so, until the melody stops playing and the device reboots, light goes yellow to show reseting.  i am stuck with on all devices that blue pulsing light and not being able to connect either on google home or nest from my main google 7a phone or from a motorola phone.

Looking through the forums, other users are having the same issue, but no-one outside of how to perform factory reset has posted a solution.   Even held down the reset button for over a minute (in which time the camera did several factory resets).

Has anyone managed to get google / nest camera devices to work after removing / factor reseting them?

If you're getting a pulsing blue light, then I think your factory resets were successfully and your cameras and doorbells should be ready to reinstall.

You say you have a 3rd gen camera, but they were just released in the last week or so.

2nd gen cameras and doorbells get installed in the Google Home app.

1st gen cameras and doorbells (like your IQ camera) get installed in the Google Nest app unless you have "transferred" them to the "Public Preview" version of the Google Home app.

I think the latest iOS supported by the iPhone 7 is iOS 15.8.5, but the current version of the Google Home app requires iOS 16.1. The current version of the Google Nest app requires iOS 14.0, so you should be okay there.

What exactly happens when you try to reinstall them?
