Hello
I recently switched to a Google Nest wireless doorbell, since my entire smart-speaker eco-system is Google. Using the "visitor announcements" all of my Google Nest Mini's and my Google Nest hub goes off saying "someone is at the door" with 1-3 seconds delay between the different speakers. Having 5 Google Nest Mini's in the house, 3 Sonos speakers and one Hub, this sounds... wild.. to say the least..
Im not sure it will fix the issue if I create a speaker group and that way set a delay between the speakers - since music has no noticeable delay between the speakers.
I can not be the first person having multiple speakers within ear-reach of each other, so, how has the been fixed before?
Thank you.

I have tried fixing the issue my self by disabling visitor announcements for the doorbell. Then create a routine that's triggered by pressing the door bell. That routine then says "There's someone at the frontdoor" on selected speakers.
(It also turns on the light in the hallway)
For some reason, it will not say "there's someone at the front door", but worse - my Nest Home, does not turn on the doorbell camera.
We REALLY need Google to understand that some people has more than one speaker in the house, and that they might not want every messages broadcast everywhere.
Turning on "Do not disturb" for some of the speakers will neither work, since that will in effect render those speakers useless for "everyday smart house" operation.

Other customers in this forum have long commented about "Visitor announcements" not being synchronized if a customer has multiple Nest Hubs, Nest Minis, or other Nest speakers. It happens to us too. I don't know if it's fixable; maybe Google Nest is simply sending separate signals to each speaker.
You could try leaving "Feedback" (see below). I've never seen a response from Google Nest on this issue.
