hi,
hoping someone might be able to help?
1 outside camera has stopped recording after wifi pssword reset
I have 4x cameras
2x wired inside all working ok after wifi password change and reset
2x out side flood light and camera (wired power)
1x camera is working fine
1x is doing everything but recording events to nest cloud
Checked all settings are the same
reset it
rebooted it
and still the same
live camera works, lights work, but no recordings
Any ideas would be a massive help?
This has taken 4-5 hrs to reset them all, not the most simple plug and play item i have

Hello, I'm an end user like you. I have been reading the posts on this thread for years and I don't remember hearing about this kind of problem .
The first thing I might try is go into the google home app and view the live image. Then in the lower right corner click on the 3-horizontal lines and then you will see the option to turn OFF the camera. Do that for at least 1 to 2 minutes then turn it back one.
The next thing I might look at is on your computer go to home.googe.com and log in and see if you can see any recorded footage there.
And finally I think you may need to open an official support ticket and speak with an actual google tech person. Once you enter all the information you will have the change to do a 'chat' or a phone call. Be ready as they will most likely make you do all the basic trouble shooting you have already done. You might try and explain you are a very experienced user and can they save time and escalate you to the next level of support. If they get you going please return here and let us know how it got fixed.

Hmmmmm, thanks for the update. The only thing I can come up with is when a camera comes back online after a reset it has to re-register itself into the Google Cloud serves. And sometimes that process can have technical issues and for some reason it took a long time for the camera to be acknowledge by Google. Glad hear you are back up and running.
