Help - this is soooooo frustrating!
I have 2 dropcam pro's and 2 google nestcams.............I have great wifi in my home and I don't understand why my google nestcams are constantly showing offline on my phone when I go to look at the live video or recorded video. I have 3 dogs and 1 is a senior - it's important I can look at video in the evening when they are in their rooms and when I'm not home or if I have a dog sitter at the house. My dropcam pro's seem to rarely go offline and if all my other tech stuff is online - why is the google nest showing offline.
Maybe it was not set up correctly?
I have nest aware subscription.
Can someone help me with this problem of the google nest cam always going offline - especially when I find for example that one of my pups got ill (vomited) and I don't know which one - I go to the video and of course it was offline and didn't catch it. I also had a stroke warning (TIA) and the camera did not catch that either because it was offline - but my dropcam pro in the other room heard me and recorded the audio portion.

There are various reasons your camera might keep disconnecting. I'd suggest taking a look at the "Your camera or doorbell keeps disconnecting and you get a lot of offline notifications" section of this help article.

Thank you, but I have looked at 1 million different links and none of them solve my problems. I’m ready to get to the point to where I unplug them hit a total reset and put them back on again but I don’t feel like doing that. It just doesn’t make sense that I have a lot of things that I run through Wi-Fi and they’re not dropping on me. Only these two WebCams.

Hi susanrmangold,
I can understand the hesitancy to do the full factory reset on the devices, but it is most likely the next necessary step in the troubleshooting process. If things don't clear up and work correctly after the factory reset, we'll need to try methods with a higher tier of support. When you're ready to give the factory reset a try, let me know and we'll see how that changes the situation for you. Just know that even though you reset the devices, all your account info and logins will be stored within the Home app, so you don't have to set all that up from scratch.
Thanks,
Jeff

Hi there his response did not help me at all. LoL
I have 3 to 5 boosters in my home. I have a ranch home about 1700 ft.² I have the best contract for the amount of devices that I am running Wi-Fi on. I have excellent service I have 2.5 and 5 GHz and everything seems to be online occasionally of course something will drop but it seems that my Google nest cams always go off-line but the green dot is always on. I have to drop cam pros and they stay on but the Google nest cams I don’t know what the problem is.
